Rainbow Trout Fly Fishing Day in Cusco

Paracas National Reserve, is located 3 hours by car south of Lima, it´s known for its impressive desert landscapes, its beautiful marine life and its great biodiversity. Paracas is home to a large colony of sea lions, flamingos, penguins, dolphins, as well as a huge variety of seabirds and marine wildlife. It is also a historical and cultural destination being an area formerly inhabited by the Paracas culture between approximately 800 BC and 100 BC.

The Experience

We will depart from your chosen accommodation in Cusco, where our journey begins, we will make a 2 hour drive aprox and arrive to our fishing spot. This trip is for fly fishing but we can use spinning equipment too. We will fish a beautiful andean lagoon full of trout with an inflatable boat. At lunch we will do a picnic surrounded by impressive mountains at the edge of the lagoon.
