Inshore Fishing day in Paracas National Reserve
Paracas National Reserve, is located 3 hours by car south of Lima, it´s known for its impressive desert landscapes, its beautiful marine life and its great biodiversity. Paracas is home to a large colony of sea lions, flamingos, penguins, dolphins, as well as a huge variety of seabirds and marine wildlife. It is also a historical and cultural destination being an area formerly inhabited by the Paracas culture between approximately 800 BC and 100 BC.
The Experience
We will depart before sunrise from your chosen accommodation in Paracas and travel for 2 hours through an impressive and massive desert landscape with a 4×4 wheel vehicle (no Phone or Internet signal at this point). You will be able to really see and feel the nature of this inhabited part of the world, fishing alone with no tourists many kilometers around. We will explore different fishing spots along the coastline all day long just stopping for a lunch break where you will be able to learn how to make a delicious traditional ceviche from your freshly caught fish.
