Inshore Fishing day in Paracas National Reserve
Paracas National Reserve, is located 3 hours by car south of Lima, it´s known for its impressive desert landscapes, its beautiful marine life and its great biodiversity. Paracas is home to a large colony of sea lions, flamingos, penguins, dolphins, as well as a huge variety of seabirds and marine wildlife. It is also a historical and cultural destination being an area formerly inhabited by the Paracas culture between approximately 800 BC and 100 BC.
The Experience
We will depart form your chosen accommodation in Paracas Bay before sunrise and go to the harbour to take a local boat to the best fishing spots. We will be fishing all around the beautiful San Gallan Island and along the coast line of the Paracas National Reserve. On this trip you will able to catch a glimpse of Paracas extensive biodiversity, spot large amounts of sea lions, sea birds and penguins and of course, if you´re lucky, catch and release a lot of South Pacific Rockfish Seabass and Flounders.
